Cuisinart also offers a three-year warranty on this product.

The Round Belgian Waffle Maker produces a restaurant-style waffle that is one-inch thick. Like the Round Classic Waffle Maker, the griddle on the product is nonstick, which allows the waffle to release from the cooking surface quickly. This product featured a black base and brushed stainless steel housing, also much like the Round Classic Waffle Maker. Cuisinart offers a one-year warranty on this product.

This Round Classic Waffle Maker measures 7.88” long x 9.69” wide x 3.31” high. It weighs a little more than five pounds and takes up .21 feet of cubic space, which means it won’t take up too much space on your counter. What Makes the Cuisinart Waffle Maker Unique?

The Round Classic Waffle Maker is unique for a few reasons. First and foremost, it comes with a five-setting browning control. This gives users the option to cook the waffle as they best see fit. Additionally, the product comes with a regulating thermostat that allows users to control the temperature. The unit also features red and green indicator lights, letting you know when the cooking process is complete.

The Round Belgian Waffle Maker features a rotary handle that allows users to flip their waffles so that it bakes evenly on both the top and the bottom. The product operates on 1000 watts of power. While the Classic Waffle Maker offers five browning settings, the Belgian Waffle Maker comes with a browning knob, giving users more control than ever. A blue light indicates when the waffle is finished cooking.

When removing both the Round Classic Waffle Maker and the Round Belgian Waffle Maker from the box, users will find an instruction manual and a recipe book. This not only helps to ensure that users operate their product correctly, but it also gives them ideas for different types of waffles to make. When we tested the products, Cuisinart provided recipes for Cornmeal Waffles and Nutty Wheat Waffles.

Cuisinart also makes it easy to store their products when you are not using them. You can wrap the cords of your Cuisinart waffle maker around the unit’s base easily. Once complete, you can insert the plug into a specially-designed set of grooves on the side of the waffle maker, ensuring that it does not move. The waffle maker also comes with a latching feature to help ensure it stays shut when stored.

Pricing

Both Cuisinart options are worth considering if you’re shopping for a waffle maker while on a budget. You can purchase the Round Classic Waffle Maker on the company’s website for just under $30, while you can buy the Round Belgian Waffle Maker on Cuisinart’s site for a little less than $60. However, the Round Classic and Round Belgian models are both cheaper on Amazon.

Amazon also indicates that the manufacturer’s warranty is available on request from the manufacturer after contacting customer service. It’s unclear how reliable Cuisinart is at providing the guarantee on their products when purchasing from a third-party company.

Additionally, the Cuisinart website indicates that the products are available in a host of other stores, including The Home Depot, Macy’s, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Lowe’s and Walmart, among others. What We Think

When it comes to kitchen appliances, Cuisinart is a name that you can tend to trust. This remains true when it comes to both their Round Classic Waffle Maker and their Round Belgian Waffle Maker. Although there are cheaper options available, or perhaps different models that are more expensive but feature more bells and whistles, these options provide quality for an affordable cost.

While reviewing these products, a few things stood out to us. Perhaps more important was the design of the product. Both the Round Classic and the Round Belgian waffle makers feature a sleek stainless-steel design. We also appreciated the fact that it was easy to store both units, as Cuisinart included features such as locking handles and the ability to wrap the cord around the device.

We also noticed the size of the units, especially the Round Classic product. While both products yielded large waffles, we did not feel as though the equipment was taking much up much counter space. Additionally, we appreciated the fact that the waffles cooked so quickly. Slow cook times are often a problem with in-home waffle makers, but this was not a concern of ours with the Cuisinart products.

Another thing that stood out to us about the Cuisinart models was the temperature control settings. We appreciated the fact that Cuisinart allows users to set the browning control and temperature when cooking their waffle, increasing the chances that users ate the perfect waffle. However, we found these controls to be fidgety at times and very sensitive to either the slightest of changes.

Of the waffle makers we have tried, we felt as though the Cuisinart models were most likely to produce the “perfect” waffle. Both the classic and Belgian options that we created in our Cuisinart waffle makers were crispy. The Round Classic unit produce a thin waffle, noticeably different from alternative possibilities that make you feel as though you used too much batter.

In all, we would recommend both the Round Classic Waffle Maker and the Round Belgian Waffle Maker to our readers. Both are excellent options if you’re looking for simplicity when creating waffles. They are excellent choices for those purchasing their first at-home waffle maker. Customers can trust that they are receiving a quality product when buying from Cuisinart.

Although there may be cheaper options available, we believe it’s worth paying a bit extra for the Cuisinart waffle makers. The prices for the Round Classic and Round Belgian waffle makers are reasonable. Additionally, the warranty that Cuisinart offers on these products is incredible. Customers can trust that their purchase is a small investment in a product that will last for years.
